TŌV (pronounced like "stove"
with no "s"), full name Tov Rose is founder of
The Entertainment Industry Chaplains. He is a
writer, inspirational speaker, television
producer, performer, Chaplain and Pastor. He is
a pioneer in the field of Corporate Chaplaincy,
providing "faith-friendly" Employee Care
Programs to non-military personnel in the
corporate world, through the company he founded,
The Entertainment Industry Chaplains.
TOV was born into a family with more than 150
years of experience in the Entertainment
Industry and has performed, taught or preached
in thousands of churches and venues worldwide,
including Westminster Abbey in London. TOV has
been published as a poet and is listed as a
contributor to the Second Edition of the McGill
English Dictionary of Rhyme, published in April
2007; He has been in television commercials,
including one with actor Gabe Kaplan of the
1970s hit television show, Welcome Back Kotter.
He has worked in theater, and trained both as a
lighting designer, and as an actor. He is a
classically trained vocalist who's performed
solo, with bands and groups of various musical
genres, including three years both touring with
and leading a consistently popular and
decades-old Christian Contemporary/Pop/Folk
group. Like many local, regional and cultural
personalities (take Garrison Keillor, for
example), TOV would be considered a "niche
celebrity." While many in the general public may
not know who he is, there are thousands of
people of select demographics and venues who
would recognize him, and the various musical
groups and bands he has toured with.
He holds a degree in Public & Media
Relations/Communications; and has completed
internships and intensive courses of study in
Pastoral Ministry, Ethnic & Multicultural
Ministries, as well as Biblical Languages
(Biblical Hebrew Language, Biblical Greek).
TOV began work as a minister in 1991, and along
with his business partner and sister, Jen,
gradually began focusing on serving the needs of
the Entertainment industry as a Chaplain,
providing spiritual support and consulting for
Entertainment Industry Professionals,
corporations, studios, celebrities, and
families.
In 1992, TOV began producing a local religious
television program. Under his direction, the
program grew to have a viewer-ship of more than
300 stations world-wide.
TOV has made various guest appearances on both
Television and Radio shows to talk about
subjects ranging from relationships, to helping
unreached people groups know the love of God,
with multiple appearances on WWDJ Radio’s “Drive
Times” with DJ and friend, WWJD Musical
Director, George Flores. He has also appeared as
a performer on numerous television programs,
with multiple appearances on the Trinity
Broadcasting Network (TBN), program “Praise the
Lord,” hosted by TBN founder’s Paul & Jan
Crouch.
As a result of his Chaplaincy work with
Entertainers, TOV has made numerous appearances,
and was the first pastor featured on Playboy
Radio, with Host Tiffany Granath's, Afternoon
Advice. He was declared one of “Hollywood’s
Hottest People” by CH Model Agency in 2006.
