Tony Chatman was the second African American to graduate from Western Michigan University with a Paper Science degree. After years in Corporate America he moved into the non-profit sector. There he served as a regional director until he ventured out as a consultant and keynote speaker.

Tony’s Biography extends to the Christian community
Tony began serving God full-time in the ministry shortly after leaving Corporate America. During this time, he learned the importance of understanding the human dimension of ministry: the difference between spiritual theory, and how, when and why people respond to the truths presented them. He also developed his ability and love for preaching impacting sermons, deep in accurate scriptural usage and practical life application.

In 1996, Tony was appointed Evangelist. He and his wife led several ministries during the course of their 9 years in full time ministry. These experiences included leading youth ministries, starting successful campus ministries at some of the most prestigious universities in the country, planting churches and overseeing numerous congregations. From each ministry experience, Tony developed a greater appreciation/understanding of various types of people, and grew in his compassion. He especially enjoys counseling marriages, creating and implementing powerful spiritual special events, training lay leaders, and preaching sermons.

Over the past few years, Tony has become highly renown internationally as a motivational and inspirational speaker. Tony recently opened for motivational speaker Les Brown in Bermuda. He has also appeared with activist/television personality Judge Mathis and Illinois State Senator James Meeks. He combines humor, parables and personal stories, along with business theory, behavioral science and years of experience in Christian counseling to provide audiences and businesses with an unforgettable impact.

Tony continues to serve the Church in various ways. He has spoken at marriage and men’s events, counseled married couples, dating couples, and individuals. He also leads a devotional group for married couples that is designed not only to heal hurting relationships through The Word, but to train these couples to be able to help others.
