Comedian and speaker Scott
Gregory has provided award winning comedy and
inspiration for audiences from N.Y. to L.A.
(pretty good for a small town Indiana boy).
Scott's credits (minus cornfields) include major
comedy clubs, colleges, churches, corporate
venues including Conseco Fieldhouse, Arrowhead
Stadium, and 2007 Murphy Oil/Murphy USA Regional
Sales Banquets, 2007 Gospel Music Association
Music in the Rockies, and several TV appearances
including HBO, Live at Rascals, and his own
BANANAS comedy special. He opened for such
comedians as Tim Allen, Jeff Foxworthy and
others. Scott is available for Corporate
venue’s, Comedy Clubs, Churches, Schools and
Retreats.
Scott writes
(yes, he learned to write) and delivers his
original brand of comedy and speaking style (he
uses words!). His stand-up skills take you on an
unforgettable comedy tour from the occasional
“Scott’s thoughts from the 90% of the brain
normally left unused” (warning: Scott's comedy
may cause you to think) to his classic bits on
time, baseball, communication, paper cuts,
parents, and more so don't miss out. His many
influences as an un-churched youth, professional
club comic, youth director, and now
inspirational speaker and comedian give Scott a
powerful stand-up act and timeless truth that
relates life to seekers and believers from teens
to adults. Scott's comedy communicates and
connects. And as opportunities are given God
works through this "fool for Christ" to
introduce hundreds to Jesus. Catch Scott... his
comedy, laughter, and heart in a life-changing
experience. Scott and his wife Becky and their
four children reside in central (that's the
middle part) Indiana.

Here is a little bit
more about Scott
Scott grew up in a small Indiana town
(chances of growing up in a big town in
Indiana are very slim) in a home with his
parents, three older brothers and a younger
sister. He first went to church during high
school because of a girlfriend. 1980, his
senior year, after two years of hearing the
gospel, he received Jesus Christ as his Lord
and Savior. His walk with the Lord faltered
over the next year as Scott tried to be a
solo Christian. He worked five years in the
print department of a major
retail/mail-order clothing chain before
venturing into the comedy clubs full time
until the end of 1988.
FAMILY
Scott and Becky were married in 1990. Their
meeting on the path to marriage is a special
story. They are thankful to have four
children, each a wonderful blessing, Andrew,
Daniel, Amy, and Debrah.
CHURCH
From 1988 for Scott and 1989 for Becky to
1999, the Gregorys attended Brookville Road
Community Church (317-861-3880), a Bible
preaching and teaching church with emphasis
in discipleship, small groups, children and
youth ministry, lay ministry, missions, and
church planting.
Scott was on staff at BRCC as youth director
from 1990-94. He has served in a variety of
ways in the adult education and youth
departments.
Since 2000 the Gregorys have been attending
Christian Community Fellowship, a church
plant of BRCC, with the mission to "connect
the unconnected."
Becky volunteers in the children and youth
areas, teaching children's church and
building relationships and being a small
group leader with the youth.
Reviews of Scott's Work:
"We used Scott during Knoxville Workcamp
1997. Scott not only did an excellent job
but was extremely easy to work with and a
joy to be around. His easy going personality
and incredible stage presence is magnetic.
At the end of the week we sent out an
evaluation form of the week. With the rating
of 5 being the highest and "most pleased"
not a single person marked below a 5! Scott
has an extraordinary gift to relay God's
word mixed with side splitting comedy. His
comedy is very Christ centered and extremely
useful in trying to reach non-Christians.
Scott is a must not miss comedian!" Jeff Upton, Youth Minister, Farragut
Church of Christ, Knoxville, TN
"Scott added a dimension to the camp I had
not seen before: a Christian comedian who
had us nearly rolling in the aisles with the
kind of humor loved by both young people and
adults followed by a powerful and
contemporary presentation of the gospel of
Jesus Christ. I enthusiastically recommend
Scottto anyone planning a retreat, camp, or
conference." Rev. Dr. Thomas A. Litteer, The First
Presbyterian Church of Sparta, Sparta, NJ
"Through the years I've had Scott in several
times because I know he is a for sure win
with students. Scott's comedy breaks the
mold for today's Christian comic because he
doesn't do Christian comedy; he does comedy.
So, he's funny in any setting. To me, Scott
has a great mix of experience, being a
former club stand-up and youth minister. He
always seems to do a great job with churched
and unchurched students weaving bits of his
personal testimony throughout his stand-up.
He's got a way of bringing me to a point of
spewing milk out of my nose and hearing the
truth about God and His plan for our lives." Jonathan Weibel, Director of Youth
Ministries, Asbury United Methodist Church,
Tulsa, OK
"I can only surmise that the power of the
Holy Spirit has gotten ahold of Scott's life
in a tremendous way. You can see it clearly
through his stand-up comedy, the way he
connects with his audience, and his
inspirational thoughts. His keen insights
and sensitive heart for the Lord allow him
to challenge audiences in a unique way." Jeff Mayfield, Director of
Admissions, Lincoln Christian College,
Lincoln, IL
"I invited Scott to share his gift of comedy
last school year with my middle school
students at Heritage Christian School in
Indianapolis. His performance did not
disappoint me! His material was funny and
tasteful.
It was Scott's desire to impact our audience
for Christ that impressed me. This quality
appears to be paramount in his ministry.
Scott was genuine with our students and
focused their attention on Jesus Christ
through personal testimony and related
illustrations. I know personally students
whose lives have been impacted in a profound
way through Scott's ministry.
I believe that Scott Gregory is uniquely
qualified to minister to today's youth with
Christian comedy. After getting to know him,
I have found Scott to be one in a million. I
give him my highest recommendation to
minister to your youth!" Brian A. Dougherty, Middle School
Principal, Heritage Christian School,
Indianapolis, IN
"Scott has performed for us during a youth
worker's training seminar and during a high
school youth weekend. The youth workers
loved his humor during the leader's
conference and he was a refreshing and
encouraging closing for a fast paced day of
learning.
At the high school youth weekend, Scott was
the single highest rated point of the
weekend on the youth evaluations. He brought
once again a refreshing and hilarious comedy
act at the close of the Saturday night
session. the laughter through out the
conference hall was endless. In addition to
his ability to bring humor into the
retelling of everyday life events, he gave
us encouraging glimpses of his own faith in
Jesus Christ. He was a highlight for our
youth weekend!" Tim Price and Rick Murphy,
Co-Directors, Next Level Productions,
Greenville, IL
"Where can you get good, clean,
rolling-on-the-floor, tears-in-your-eyes,
uproariously funny comedy? Two words: Scott
Gregory! Scott's humor appeals to virtually
any age audience, helps us not to take
ourselves too seriously. I would recommend
him to any audience." Mark M. Gallagher, Campus Minister,
Christian Campus Ministry, Terre Haute, IN
"Scott Gregory has the unique God-given
ability to be insanely hilarious and then
transition into a serious communication of
God's love and grace toward man. He is a
truly gifted man. We would have him back in
a heartbeat." Brad Ladermann, Youth Pastor,
Christian Fellowship Church, Columbia, MO
