Mrs. Scoggan has conducted
numerous seminars and workshops on stress in the
Washington, DC area, over a period of eight
years. She has compiled years of research into
books and speaking topics. A successful author
and lecturer, Nita has been a featured guest on
numerous television and radio programs across
America. Her career as a Research Analyst and
Illustrator concluded when she retired after
twenty-five years of service at the Pentagon.
Nita and her husband, Bill, have
been married since 1957. They have three sons,
and six grandchildren. The Scoggans are active
in church and community affairs. They led prayer
services and practical theology classes for busy
staffers at the White House and Pentagon during
their twenty-five years of ministry. For five
years, they co-hosted a weekly radio program in
Washington, DC focusing on current issues from a
biblical perspective.
Nita is a member of the National Speakers
Association and speaks on such topics as
Nutrition, Patriotism, Prayer, Dealing with
stress in the workplace and understanding your
past to impact your future.
