A 6’7”, 300-lb. former college
football standout with a lively sense of humor,
“Big Milt” makes a big impact with his straight
talk about important challenges facing young
people, families and modern society. Creagh has
spoken in 49 of the 50 states, throughout the
Caribbean, Canada, South America and South
Africa. He has addressed state legislatures,
elder councils on Native American Reservations,
professional athletes, incarcerated adult and
juvenile offenders, high school and college
students, U.S. Attorneys, U.S. troops, business
leaders, union locals and churches.
Creagh is the former host of
the national PBS television series, “Parenting
Works!” His television work dates back to the
early 90’s, when he created and hosted the
Emmy-nominated teen talk show, “Atlanta Teen
Talk”, on WPBA-TV 30 in Atlanta. He later
developed a dance/talk format for teens (In
Effect!) that also was nominated for a local
Emmy. His affiliation with WPBA also yielded two
prime time specials: “The Black Male: An
Endangered Species” and “Atlanta Facing AIDS”.
Creagh was also featured in three nationally
syndicated television specials for MTI/Coronet
Films: “Trap: Selling Drugs in the Inner City”,
“Prejudice: Dividing the Dream”, and “Diversity
in the USA”. Creagh also developed and hosted
the video based training program, “Parent to
Parent” for PRIDE Youth Programs. He also wrote
and hosted the Covenant Award winning docu-drama,
“Masquerade: Unveiling Our Deadly Dance With
Drugs and Alcohol”.
He has been featured in
magazines and media outlets as diverse as Fox
News Network, CNN, “Focus On The Family”
magazine (cover story), the urban teen fan
magazine “Right On!”, the magazine for upwardly
mobile
young African Americans, “Upscale”, and the
nationally broadcast Canadian television series,
“100 Huntley Street”. Creagh has also been a
guest on King World’s Ananda Lewis Show and
Black Entertainment
Television’s “Screen Scene” after he co-starred
in “Pumpkin Man” a made for television
children’s film with Denise Crosby (Star Trek:
TNG; Deep Impact).
