"You can either give up, or look up!"

That's what author, speaker, singer/songwriter and life coach Luanne Hunt heard the Lord say in her spirit the day she contemplated ending her life. In this dark moment, the memories of her painful past proved too much to bear. She was tired of fighting. And throwing in the towel seemed to be the only answer.

But those loving words from above, "You can either give up, or look up!" caused her to pause and consider her options. Luanne really didn't want to die, she just wanted the pain to stop. So with all the faith she could muster, she prayed to God to help her find a new and joyful way of living.

The answer came in the form of an opportunity to get some greatly needed rest. Luanne cancelled everything she was doing and spent six months praying, studying the Bible, worshipping and talking to God about her future.

During that time, the Lord began to reveal Himself to her in ways she never expected. He showed her His awesome and unconditional love. Through His Holy Spirit, He made known to Luanne His greatest wishes for her life.

"God impressed upon me that the main reason He created me was for His pleasure," said Luanne, a native of Pennsylvania. "He let me know how much He desired my
attention, love, fellowship and worship.

"Once I started to focus my energies on giving Him what He wanted, I began to see many changes. As time went by, all I seemed to care about was living by His perfect will, no matter what that meant I'd wind up doing."

While keeping the Lord sharply in view, Luanne continued to pray for clarity and direction about what to do next. Day by day, she uncovered more of God's plan for her, which included using her treasured talents for His glory. With the Lord's help, she now has a successful ministry in which shares her songs, writings and insights for victorious living.

Along with appearing at churches, coffee houses, conventions, festivals and women's groups throughout the United States, Luanne has also recorded three Christian CDs. They include, "Lost In Your Love," "I'm So Happy!" and "Moving God, Moving Mountains!" All of her songs are a unique blend of catchy melodies and well-crafted lyrics that put the listener in touch with God's immeasurable peace and lasting joy.

In addition to earning her certification as life coach, Luanne recently published her first book, "Moving God, Moving Mountains!" The manuscript offers insights into how to draw closer to the heart of God and move into the power of His presence.

"Through my multi-layered ministry, I want people to know God is available and ready to rush in and help them live the dream He placed in their hearts," said Luanne, who is also a freelance journalist. "All it takes is reaching out to Him and letting Him know how
much He means to you every single day."
