Kens goal when he communicates
is to motivate, educate and inspire. He delivers
a message of excellence that will leave every
audience with a feeling of hope and
encouragement to conquer the obstacles and
setbacks of life.
Born in Los Angeles, California and growing up
in the inner-city of Dallas, Texas. Ken and his
family moved over 18 times in the same city
before he was out of High School. Seeing his mom
do whatever she could do to make ends meet Ken
found out at a young age the struggles and
temptations of life. Surrounded by drugs and
alcohol, extreme poverty and a real sense of
hopelessness, athletics became Ken’s light at
the end of the tunnel.
Ken
Johnson is a former Blue Chip All-American High
School Football Player, Army Reserve Captain,
and Tulsa, Oklahoma police officer. Ken earned
his BS in Education in 1984 from the
University
of Tulsa where he played as a scholarship player
on the football team. After graduation a knee
injury prevented Ken from fulfilling his dream
of a pro-football career. It was while serving
with the Tulsa Police Department in the
inner-city that Ken developed his passion for
the plight of today’s youth. Ken is presently
serving as chaplain of the NFL Super Bowl
Champion Indianapolis Colts and is a nationally
known motivational and conference speaker,
evangelist and recording artist.
Ken travels across the country speaking to
groups such as: the National Student Council
Leadership Conference, over 200 schools per
year, business and corporate events, conferences
and seminars. Ken is a well rounded speaker with
the ability to speak to a board room of a
Fortune 500 company and to a small group of
Inner-city students or gang members. Ken has
appeared on TBN on a national level and hosted
their pre-super Bowl coverage. He has traveled
to other countries as well to take his message
of hope and making the right choices in life to
the world.

Anthem and has his own CD available that was
produced at the Bill Gaither Studio’s. Ken’s
book “Journey to Excellence” tells his
remarkable story of perseverance in the face of
unrelenting obstacles. Ken is a must for your
business, your school or your church.
