Ed Gill has more than 25 years
of frontline business experience in the areas of
operations, customer fulfillment, sales, safety
and maintenance. Ed had also lead many projects
in business encompassing software
implementation, strategic business planning,
safety improvements, and financial turn-around.
Ed's business life started right
after school as he started his own
transportation company at the age of 23. Which
he later sold and incorporated into a larger
organization. He was the Vice President of an
eighty million dollar logistics and
transportation company in the Mid-West. While
there, Ed was directly involved with a
significant profit enhancement program that lead
to many successes for the company. By educating
each department on the current watermark,
establishing goals, and building tactical plans
for reaching those goals together they were able
to make great improvements. By providing the
people with measurements of the effect their
work was having on the goal, excitement built,
innovation flowed and positive results happened.
Ed believes that everyone desires
to produce, but often they need better
decision-making tools and processes. Gaining
insight from those that do the work and building
a program based there has been very successful.
Ed further believes that
approaching business excellence from a holistic
position is the only sure way to build an
excellent company. Each person in a company must
understand their role and the effect it has to
build true interdependency.
Justine, Ed, and their son Austin
reside in Noblesville, IN. The family is active
in their church of Crossroads Church in
Westfield, IN. Ed is currently serving as the
missions lead for the church, as well as the
project manager for strategic planning. Justine
is active in the woman's programs and Austin
plays guitar in the church band.
Ed is also a member of the TCA,
"The Christian Advantage", based in Louisville,
KY. TCA is a businesspersons group that mentors
and leads business people to glorify God in
their work.
